Clutch plate question.

I just got a set of new clutch plates.

No instructions came with them, so I have a couple of questions.
I know how to open up the clutch and what order to fit the plates in.
I also know that the new plates will need soaked in engine oil for a few hours before fitting.

ok , enough rambling, the questions.
1) The plates have a notch in the end of one of the dog ears on each plate. Should these line up when I put the plates into the basket?
2) Do the fibre plates have an inside and an outside face? If so how do I tell which is which?
3) Do the metal plates have an inside and an outside face? If so how do
I tell which is which?
4) Should there be a slight burr on the edge of the basket where it meets the dog ears of the fibre plates? If not is it safe to gently file this burr off?
5) Do the clutch springs have one end that goes into the holes 1st or can they be put in either way round? If they do have a facing, how do I tell which end should go in 1st?

Any Clutch Guru's out there know?

lets see, been awhile,  there is no front or rear on the fiber plates. as to the order, watch which one comes off last, then put the new ones in.  i generaly soak my plates overnight in a 5w15 in a milk jug but thats me.  read to see if they can be used with synth oil or not, then keep it that way. take your time, clean the gasket surfaces good.

Thanks.

About to make a start now.
The gasket I've been sent doesn;t look like it'll fit, so I hop the old one will hold oil until I can find a gasket that does fit.

careful, both side covers have oil galleys in them to feed the front counter ballence shaft bearings.  if your in doubt about the clutch cover gasket, DONT REUSE THE OLD ONE. you dont want to have to split the cases inside of a week do to "Internal Bleeding" (you may not see or use a drop of oil, but destroy bearings none the less)
