When I hit about 100mph I get an air bubble in the fuel line

...and lose power for a second.

it's kind of freaky to say the least because even though I can almost anticipate it every time I still never really get used to it.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Now scram.

haha

Thanks for the link, phil.

Hmm...my fuel lines already run straight to the carbs.  I'm running jetted with the Wileyco, K&N pods, and a Bob B ignition advancer.  Used to run fine until I went to Davipu's and put on the gsxr rear shock...

I'll replace the fuel lines...shorten them up a bit...I'll also rev the bik 8k-9k for an extended period of time and watch what happens to the fuel lines(I have clear hoses) and report back with my findings.

running high revs at no load for extended periods ain't so good for the motor, might want to do this on a dyno

Using the stock hoses, you can drain the whole tank in just a few minutes.  There's no way that even 100mph would run your whole tank out that fast.

Maybe the tank isn't venting quick enough?  Try leaving the gas cap open a crack.

Yea over 3 years no hear from ya ... and yup, swapping out Davipu shock will totally mess up your fuel delivery ...    ... it also messes up the oil pressure, and electrical flow ... For more details on that check with starwalt ...
Cool.

Dom

I'm back with a vengence.

Hmm...almost makes me want to go back to the stock shock...or at least lengthen the dogbones a bit...

I wonder if dgyver or Bob B have experienced this problem...no doubt they have put the gsxr shock on the rear...what about pantablo, or you, srinath...this is the 1st time I have heard anything about it in relation to the increased rake.

I guess ill fab up some slightly longer dogbones and see if it makes a difference...

Dav, did you say they needed to be 1/4" longer center to center than the ones I have on now?
