Crappy Ride...

As usual, I took the GS to work (15mi one way), and on the way back I was surprised to feel so much wind all over the place.

I've riden in strong wind, where I have to lean the bike against the wind to go straight, but this time was a bit different.
I was getting slapped all over the place by what it felt to be 'pockets or air'. Man do they sux so much.

All the way back the bike felt as if I was running out of gas and needed to switch to reserve... but it wasn't that. The problem was entering and coming out of these 'pockets' of air constantly.
Honestly I was getting slapped good. I think I grew some extra muscles on my neck again.

All i could do was to duck as much as possible and open the throttle (at low speeds the bike became very unstable).
I got home really tired  :dunno:

I usually get a good wind coming home from work, but today was really bad. I just let the bike do its thing, relax my grip and it'll lean into the wind just about by itself.

Yea I have heard of it from my CA days ... its the Santa Ana (english) winds and if you see closely you can see the mexicans flying in on it from Santa Ynez mehico ...  :lol:

At least car lanes are big enough to wander around when the wind hits you...
