Quote from: porsche4786Oh well, I thought it would be cool just to have 2 signals, but I probably won't do it yet because I don't want to void the warranty incase something does go wrong and it's their fault.

I have an '05, but I went ahead and did it regardless of the warranty because I figure that there's really nothing in the electrical system that, if it's to fail, I can't replace myself. So they can go ahead and void that part of the warranty for all I care. I had a bad battery and that wasn't even covered anypoop. I am not sure, but I don't think they can reject a warranty claim on the engine if you have modded the electrical system. But DO NOT take that for gospel because I am not positive.

I'd almost say go ahead and do it. But it's your call.

That pretty much summarizes 80% of the motorists I see out on the roads every day.

I read that there's been an increasing number of "drive thru" accidents in Florida.  The situation is that the [generally elderly] person overshoots the window, puts the car into reverse to back up to the window, then forgets the car is in reverse.  After they get their order, they gun it right into the person waiting behind them.  I'm not trying to pick on the elderly (or Floridians, for that matter), but this kind of inattentiveness seems all too common these days.  I've had to move to avoid being sideswiped on the GS a couple of times...in every instance the person was chatting away on their cell phone while merging into traffic.  :x  Not saying multiple signals would fix this, but I don't see how it could hurt.

Agreed. It would not hurt. Nor would wearing a clown outfit when you ride. But I don't know how much either would actually HELP.
