I haven't got mine carved out yet, my GF and I will probably be doing that in a week or so. We have a pumpkin fest here, too Badger! Of course, we're not going to win any records with it..

We have a pumpkin fest here, too Badger! Of course, we're not going to win any records with it..

I have friends that live up in Keene.  We usually make an event out of it, get really drunk and play with fire (grill a turkey), knives (pumpkin carving), and occasionally power tools.  Using a dremmel on a pumpkin can be exciting, depending on how much you've had to drink (and don't forget the reciprocating saw!)    I think last year (maybe it was the year before) we submitted maybe 20 or so gourds.

I''m gonna miss the festival this year, though...I'm away on vacation next weekend.
