so basically, one of the reasons insurance is so expensive is because of the rising cost of healthcare, which is largely due to the rising cost of insurance.

i really think insurance should be a not-for-profit venture.  the profit motive is at odds with the basic mission of providing insurance that actually helps people when they need it.

ok.  actually, i think health insurance should be a government venture.  single-payer, not socialized.

I think everything should be free,  food, housing, transportation, health care, medicine, clothing, education, oh wait they tried that in ussr and it didn't work.  I guess I have to keep working....
