hm.... well IF the two teams were to play I would cheer for Tech, no doubt. But if I were putting money on the game (not that I ever do that), I might have to go the other way. I think Penn State would win on a neutral field.

yeah it really depends on if Tech goes into the game with balloon head syndrome or not. It will be a good game, if they make it, but they have to keep their heads deflated for the next game first.

the way i see it, Tech had better win this saturday or the Gator Bowl committee just might chose to take Miami instead of Tech, leaving VT in the Peach bowl against an under-gunned SEC opponent.

My real connundrum here is that I want to see JoePA catch Bowden in wins, but I want to see Tech win, too. If FSU wins the ACC, JoePA gets to trounce bowden personally, but that would mean a Tech loss. If Tech wins the ACC, its either a win for my Hokies OR one more for JoePA. I would really be torn between my love of Tech and my loathing of Bobby Bowden.
