Gear Question... Pants specifically

Ok, I really appreciate the input guys.

I think I'll get the FirstGear HT2 Overpants.

I can't decide between getting a 34" (my usual pant size) and a 36" (to accomodate wearing over pants).

As the site says, I should get my usual pant size... but I want to be really careful about getting pants that are too small (like someone said, if they are too small, I'll never want to wear them.)

I'd just get the size that they recommend (34") if its too small, newenough seems to have an awesome return/exchange policy.

Agreed. I had a coat for more time than was outlined in the return policy and they still took it, no questions. Great company.

Get your normal size. My 36" HT Air overpants go easily over my 36" regular pants, belt and all. The overpants have an adjustable waistband so you can cinch them tighter if needed.

I haven't added any armor to the HT Air overpants. They aren't racing gear, but they're padded pretty well.
