He prefers to have people come in.  I've seen people in there who have come from Canada, California, and even a couple who rode in from Virginia.

Hmm. I guess I'm lucky that I've got a staple gun lying around my house. My mother bought it because she decided she wanted to reupholster her own furniture from now on. Convenience, no?

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

jake42

so wait... another GSF. what's the deal. I didnt' see any posts about the GSXR leaving or anything.

JakeD-getting your nipple pierced is not crazy. Killing a drifter to get an errection? Now that's crazy!

A guy I know is making it into his race bike, and I have an F for the winter.

I was looking for GSs at Alki, but couldn't find any...

OK, me on the GS.  Ogle my sexy raingear.  Although I'm happy to see you, that is just a garage door opener in my pocket.

The green crap is trying to compensate for a yellow-saturated pic.  I'm not going to end on that one.  Earlier today:

Sorry to go a little off subject here, but what camera are you using?  Are you a professional photographer?  Those pictures are awesome, I especially like the first one :thumb: You've got a great eye for photos.

Oh yeah, the bike looks great too, congrats on the new 05.
GS500F in BLUE because that's the COOLEST color!

Roadstergal

Danke.  Photos are my hobby, not a profession.  I have a Konica-Minolta DiMAGE (horrible name for a camera) Z6.  I like it, but there are some things I prefer about my former camera, a Kodak DX6490 (better burst mode, and for some odd reason, you can't use the flash with manual mode on the DiMAGE).

NiceGuysFinishLast

Nice choice on the camera, the Z6 is a nice camera, but after having sold the things for a little over a year, my personal recommendation would have been the panasonic DMCFZ-5.... Many of the same features as your Z6, but with a nicer lens (true Leica), Optical image stabilizer, instead of a CCD-anti-shake, rechargeable lithium ion battery (~150 shots), and an unlimited consecutive shoot mode, so theoretically, you could hold your shutter and take 2.x frames per second until your memory card filled up...

Ok... enough techie crap, I agree, the pics are nice!  :thumb:

What turned me off of the FZ5 was no manual focus.

I liked my Kodak's Li-ion, but the Z6 is no battery-sucker; a charged set of NiMH lasted me a race weekend and then some.

NiceGuysFinishLast

Ahh.. I forgot about the lack of manual focus... they built it into the FZ5's larger predecessor, the FZ-20.. but it was probably a little big for your use... on another note... answering my post 1 minute after I posted it.... lurking a little bit? Bored today?

When did you go down there?

Roadstergal

Just good timing. :)

I was at Alki about 6-7ish...

natedawg120

like the new bike, looks just like my GS :thumb: .  As far as giving you hell for going through a lot of bike, eh, some of us are addicted to worse things.

Oh, there are more expensive things to be addicted to than GSs. :)

Edmonds.  170 miles.

Magnuson Park.  Just about 200.  Taptaptaptaptaptaptap.

Hah... that pic of the bike on the dock is nice... but how much fun was it (not) getting the bike back off the dock?

It's a nice flat dock, so I rolled down and back up without issues.

It's hard to get a pic there, because I don't want to get in the way of folk loading/unloading boats.  But today was a slow day.

JustinNoob

Great pictures RG.    to your photography hobby.

I like that tank-bag. I never even realized the gas tank was a good spot for luggage like that.
