New Rider and the 04 GSF

Hey now guys,

I recently got a 04GS500F as my first bike. I know very little this bike and found this website. But the informatino are a bit confusing and I was wondering if anybody can debreif me on what "jetting" is and what are some key things I should know about the GS and riding in general.
