Little late to reply, but that is a GORGEOUS bike Pandy. I went to the Suzuki dealership a couple days ago and sat on the SV1000S, which is MOST likely gonna be my next bike. They're VERY comfortable. Once again, awesome bike and good luck. Hope those frame sliders never have to see any work on that beauty.

He is a mighty SWEET bike. He now is fully dressed with frame sliders (that I, too, hope to never have to use), and a new Scorpio alarm (again...hoping I never have to test its effectiveness).

The alarm was SO much easier to install than I thought it would be....but then...so were the frame sliders (because I didn't do the work... my bf rawks! He's good at EVERYTHING!!  :kiss: :mrgreen: ).

Yeah, I'd imagine so. Comfort on the other hand... GS is pretty good for comfort with the upright position for most.

My GS was more comfy as long as I remembered to grab the tank securely with my legs.  But with the SV, I could just flop on the tank.  Got a crick in my neck after a few hours, though.

I love the sv1000s.  I would just put high mount aftermarket cans on  the back with a fender eliminator.  mmm hmm
