What is a classic japanese bike?

Jake..........is that the RD350 Yamaha? I had one. 1975. Tangerine.
One screaming machine. Could take a stock Honda 750-4 cyl. about 1 link in the quarter mile. I loathe the day I sold it. The dude blew the engine in less than a month. It sounded like one huge pissed off bumble bee.
40 horse-6 speed-two stroke. Man that pix brought back some good memories. Thanks.

That is the rd350.  My big bro had one when i was a kid. that thing was freakin' awesome. I've always wanted one. A student of mine had a complete 1975 and spare parts bike that she was going to sell me for 300 bucks.  I didn't do it becuase I had just gotten the GS.  I could kick myself. If I had the space I'd have a ton o' old bikes.

a friend of mine found this bike in the garage of a house he bought. He had no title for it unfortunately and was able to find a parts bike w/ a title and transferred the best parts to the titled bike.  It's a '78 CB400T. He's trying to sell it to me w/ the parts bike as a first bike for $1000 but I want something a little more modern considering I was 5 when this was new

Yeah a friend of mine mentioned the Kawi triple.  never seen one before. I googled it and they look cool.

Are they two strokes?  The pic I saw had that bulge in the pipe.

This bike is way cool too.  Also a two stroke triple.  Obvioulsy not stock.
