I recently picked up a 74 kawasaki ke100 from a guy at work for $100, plus it came with a 3/4 built parts bike.

Problem is I need clutch plates, discs, and springs as well as a full engine gasket kit. But every part they show for an old ke100 is for a 76-up. Anybody know if they would work? Or have any idea where I can get parts for the 74/75 that I have?

My recent trials and tribulations witn an '81 Yammy lead me to believe that a lot of parts that are not visible don't change a lot. I discovered that starter rollers and springs for the 81 are still the same on modern Yamahas.

It would, however be a bit of a gamble, any breakers or "good old boy" garages near you, might be worth investing some time chatting. For a hundred you can't really go wrong. A good trawl around the internet parts dealers should turn up a gasket set, if not these things can be made with care, chemicals and paper. It might be worth a PM to Srinath.

In Cricket the testicular guard, or Box, was introduced in 1874. The helmet was introduced in 1974. Is there a message??
