Merging morons

Why is it, when there is tons of space both ahead of me and behind me on the Interstate, the car that is merging can't seem to gauge my speed and adjust their speed to go either faster or slower than me?   Why do they always want the tiny little patch of roadway that I happen to be using?   :x    Twice today I was way too close for comfort with cars merging onto the highway because they wanted to merge right into me!   Grrrrrrrrr !    There's room for all of us, Sparky!    What James Bond style mods can I make to deal with these idiots?    I'm thinking flamethrower.  :mrgreen:

Its happened to eveyone who rides, and if the the horn doesn't get them to back off you can be held liable for denting their side panels with your boot  :mrgreen:

Carry a .22 on your hip, when they get too close pull it out and shoot their tire.  Problem solved.

ive always been one to take off mirrors of those passing me in my lane, mergers tend to hear my engine once i rev it/ beep horn. really got ones attention by knocking on his window and signaling him to hang up his phone.
