First off, I'm new to the forum, and I've owned my 93 GS since nov. '03. I love this site for its help. I'm wondering who can assist me with doing some of the more "severe" modifications with my bike. I am wanting to bore/stroke it to 600, and use a gsxr750 head. I've seen that Bob Broussard is doing some nice stuff on his, but I can find email addy's. Any suggestions or interest in my project are welcome.

Hola!

There's a link to Search at the top of the page that's very handy.  For starters, do a Search for Big Bore Kit (make sure to click Search All Terms).

for oversized pistons. alot of the stuff that Bob has done has been custom fabbed in his shop for his bikes, so the only one that actually knows what's going on is the Bob himself if you pm him and mail him beer he'll tell you all you need to know.   on that note though this is not cheep and your looking at $1000+  just for parts.  and that's with having your own machine/welding shop.

btw, 2nd maw sucks.

Yep I'd have to agree. I'm pretty sick of being in my unit. Time for a change. Hopefully away from 2maw. So beer, and time.I can do that. Maybe I can send him a gift cert. for the grocery store so the beer doesn't stale. I'm already planning on spending a good bit of change (roughly 5-6k) on my gs, and about 1200 is going into the bottom end. I just want something different, and I think the gs is great.
