Indicator bulb went out while riding today..

My highbeam indicator bulb burnt out today while riding.  What kind of bulb do I need for replacement?  How do I replace it?  Where can I buy this replacement bulb?

dont go 2 a dealership. you have to take off the instrument cluster if i recall correctly to get to them. its not very hard if you have a manual it will break it down for ya. and they are just standard 194 bulbs, any parts store will carry them.

I have a 97 gs also.  All I did was pull the the bulb from the back, where the rubber mount is.  I went to an auto parts store and bought a 12v 1.7w bulb.  Replaced and pushed it back into place.  Took all but 30 seconds.  I believe I have the bulb package at the office, I can let you know which one I purchased tomorrow morning.

I would think so too.. Do you ride alot with the highs on?

Maybe get one of thoes 2x long life ones, If they come in the right size. I think they are a bit darker, just a bit, but say they last 2x as long.

Or convert it to a led.
