Quote from: gikim1118I am looking for boots so I'm leaning toward Sidi but don't want to spend $200 for boots that I'm only going to wear when riding.  any suggestions?

:dunno:

A few years ago I bought Sidi boots (shoes?), similar to Escape model ($140), and right now I'm using it in the office, confortable enough for a day, I whish they'd breathe better but sport socks help. Next day I wear Banana Joe work boots, which are just a little bit more confortable and breathe better but more bulky on the pegs, but Sidis are better when it rains. Both are way better than hiking Timberlands I wore when I just got the bike.

If you are just comuting, these boots would do OK. Other suggestion, buy very expensive boots and stay on the saddle more time, then your investment would worth it...
