Thanks to everyone for the congrats

Back to the fog:
Pandy, I thought about using contacts but considering that I use this glasses only when I'm driving (fu#@! 24 years old and already have two pair of glasses.... like my grandma   ), I don't think it's a good idea...

So I'll try: saliva (very scenic by the way... spitting at traffic lights!!), dishwashing soap + Fog city and Cat crap (whoa, what a ugly name!!)

I WON'T try: Fog-x and alcohol-based things.

I'm just a bit disappointed with my helmet; I mean, it's wonderful but the anti-fog shield isn't SO anti-fog...  :?
I bought a product weeks ago, it works wonderfully but not with heavy fog.

I used the dish soap trick on cars, and it works great.  It's never worked on helmets, for me - I think it's a tougher job.  FogCity worked like a charm.

Never never ever put an acetone based cleaning product on your face shield or eyeglasses.  :nono:

Acetone eats polycarbonate!  :o
-Protection only works when you use it!-

As for the granny glasses...heck, I've had bad vision since I was in my early teens!

i'm sorry but it's scentific fact  :dunno:

the best anti-fog is to simply crack open the visor...
My hunch was right...Pandy is the biggest Post Whore!

I could do this on my old helmet, but my new one doesn't adjust as well as the old one in this respect. The gap for the first click open is wider than I'd like it to be...that's been my only complaint so far, though.

I know Shoei  rf1000 and some HJC come with a breath guard, it really helps.

If you do that in rain or fog, the ambient wet will get in and your vision is completely compromised until you pull over and dry it out.

You couldn't explain it better.
Crack your helmet open in the middle of the fog.... eh eh VERY logical and scientific
Oh, but I'm just a woman... I can't understand these things...

First gap is the best choice if you don't have a serious anti-fog. But hey, cold comes in!!  :o

Yeah, that really sucks at 38 Degree F temps we've been having.  I did it one day when the antifog failed and end up with iced snotcicles coming out of my nose... :o Um, maybe that's too much info...
GS500F in BLUE because that's the COOLEST color!

HI for all its worth I was filling up the evil ford trucks windshield wash container  with rain-x brand and had a bit left over so I put it in a small spray bottle and did the interior of the truck and wow she no fog up. So logic dictated I do my helmet visor for the bike and 4 wheeler it does a great job. No more fog up! I have been using this since June and had no problems yet. It also beads the rain very well improving my vision and bugs come off easy. If RAIN-X was a girl I would marry her!
