Yamaha has got it down

A rear fender that unbolts. How cool is that? Talk about a smart decision on their part. Not only does it make it easy to do a fender eliminator, but going to the track is WAY easier to prep for. Instead of having to tape over your turn signals and take your plates off, you can just unbolt the rear fender and voila, they are both gone! That's a f%$king brilliant idea, if you ask me.


See? A couple of bolts and it's all gone.

Not only that, but it looks a lot nicer, too. Take a look at the new R6 for example. Those metal brackets coming down look really nice, especially for stock.




I really wish other manufacturers would start doing this on all their bikes. It allows us to mod the bike without having to worry about resale value due to cutting up a fender someone else might want. Brilliant move, Yamaha.

When I wanted to downscale my fender I had to cut. When I downsized my dad's fender I had to cut it. I guess I just now only noticevd it on these new Yamahas.
