Paint code question...

First off...does anyone know if the blue paint on an 04 is the same as the blue paint on an 05?

Nextly...where can I find the paint code for my blue paint on my 05?

No, I didn't wreck the bike , I have just never been fond of the odd shaped baby blue sticker on my 05.  I also don't totaly care for the white bottom fairing.  I am thinking about having the fairing painted all blue by a local paint shop and adding the 04 graphics.  I am MUCH more fond of the 04 paint scheme...very...GSX-Rish.  It has much more of a sporty look if you ask me.

If I could find a bottom fairing off of a blue 04 that was in perfect shape...maybe I'd buy.  But I don't really see that happening and having mine painted might cost $300 tops.  The graphics unfortunately look like they would cost me $200 from bike bandit.  Is that pretty much my cheapest source for the decals?  Owch.

The blue on the '04 is not the same as on the '05. The blue on the '05 is lighter. The blue '04 paint is much prettier, too. I love it.

Yeah, that's what it looked like in the pictures I had seen, I've just never seen an 04' in person.  I understand them changing the look every year to keep things fresh, but the 05' paint scheme was a downgrade.  No offense to anyone, just my opinion.

I still feel that the 04' graphics would look good on my 05', but I'm looking for a better source for them.  Bike Bandit rules, but I'll have trouble forking over $200 for some vinyl stickers.

I wish the '05 was the same color as the '04. I'd jump on an '05 tail so I didn't have that weird blue front/white back contrast going on.

I bought another tail section off of ebay.  I thought about painting it blue but I'm going with the same color as the front fender for now.  If I like this I'll keep it that way.

BUT.... if I don't like it then the original tail, another front fender, and possibly another tank is going to be painted the same blue.  I'm thinking solid blue, silver wheels, and small silver decal for the tank.
