I'd have taken a couple pics, but I didn't get to eat with anyone else either. I worked while my family had dinner, and then I just had a plate I made myself hours later..leftovers
Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.

It doesn't look as though we got pics of the feast...just before and after...but I could always post a pic of the desiccated carcass?  :P

Actually there is an excellent soup to be made with a turkey carcass called...Turkey Carcass Soup (duh!).

Click here for some google results.
I don't think Mrs. Starwalt is doing that this year.  :(

Her specialty is a sour dough bread and corn bread dressing with fresh sage. Hmmmm!

Sadly we had to buy sage this year, our 20 year old sage bush died this summer. It was traditional for someone to cut sufficient sage for the dressing. When you do, your hands smell like sage for hours. Really kinda neat, sorta.  :?
