I used to read another board (not motorcycle related) until it was taken over by 15 year olds.  They all postwhore like crazy.  Even when people had valid questions. "Do you know how to...?"  would get 50 responses, mostly stuff like "No." or "Your momma does."

There was no concept of only posting when you *actually* had something meaningful to add.

Yea I know I am a regular PW ... just the sustained duration of the PW'ing is hard to match ... Over 3 years of PWing ... OK comming up on 3 yrs. Honestly atleast 1000 posts were in that 1 thread asking Pandy to show us her Rack, another 1000 in that post where that Canadian chick wanted to show us hers ... Oh yea dont forget the 1000 more bashing purple or should I say Redblue ... essentially remove all those and ones about eli's carb sheite and virago's electrical blow up crap and the ones where I sell sheite like bars and case savers and you're left with like 20 posts of any substance ... So I guess anyone can come close to that ratio ... 9800 posts with 20 of relevance ... = .2% ...
