that's an organized national competition...of course you have to wear protection. they wouldn't allow to compete without protection. that's an exception.

what about when they're home, practicing, or at a show? and what about all the wannabe stunter that are not counted for? like i said before, i was shocked to see some stunters were not wearing a helmet or gloves. you would think that a helmet is a no brainer but people do it.

look i just found a squid photographer!

My hunch was right...Pandy is the biggest Post Whore!

Quote from: JetSwingi've said more "ooohhh" and "aahhh"s watching this guy perform stunts than any super squids i've seen.

He is SO good.  There's a vid floating around of him on the HP2 - I'll have to dig it up.

In full gear...

Alphamazing

I've got a vid of Pfiefer at the World Stunting Championship. It's freakin' amazing. He's impressive as hell. I also got to see him when I was at Laguna Seca. He wheelied down the corkscrew (downhill and turning), and burned the tire on the way down. On one wheel. Didn't drop it. Absolutely f%$king amazing.

Quote from: budget speed demonHow do you burn the tire on one wheel? unless your using the 12bar.

He wheelied, then gunned it and the rear tire lost traction. Going down hill. Freakin' amazing.

As for your behavior, I think you are acting a bit squidly. I live in Texas, so don't even try talking to me about hot. Think about it. It might be hot, but if anything happens, the asphalt is hotter, and a hell of a lot more painful. You seem to be responsible about the stunting, so that's respectable, but I feel that people should wear jackets, gloves, helmets, and shoes ALL the time. Texas can get up to 110 in the summer easy, but I always wear my mesh jacket. It's not worth the risk, I don't think.

lol, common, almost everyone on this site is a 'budget speed demon'
Most people mod there bike to make it faster while still on a budget.
Even you, with your Yoshimura RS-3 Carbon can, Rejet, and 15t Sprocket. Not taking a shot at ya, just saying that we've all got a bit of BSD in us, ESPECIALLY on this site.

Quote from: RoadstergalI agree - a skilled rider can still be a squid.

Stunting on public roads is the pinnacle of squid.

+1 what homegirl says. Even if you have mad skillz, if you are stunting on a public road you are a squid. You are giving bikers a bad name, raising my insurance, and making articles for my mom to clip out and send me.

Ad reads:
Ever wonder why you sometimes see late model sportbikes that are on their second motor?

Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

I like this part:

Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.
