im tired of religious finatics screaming and yelling about all the people going to hell,  I seriously doubt that any of them have read the bible.(same people that believe the "Golden Rule" is in the bible)  If they had the must have ignored most of it and only paid attention to the parts they want.  It specificaly (spelling) says "Judge not Lest thou be Judged". A "real" religious person would follow the bible and "spread the word of god". nowhere does it say to stand on the corner and scream and yell about other peoples sins.  A REAL christian would lead by example and "live" the bible and not put down others for not following,  he/she would use his life, forgiveness, caring, and fellowship to lead people. Not berate, belittle, and shame people into changing there ways.

Wonder why Kerry, a great guy, bailed out?  I don't.  Hate, fanaticism, sarcasm.  I relied on Kerry to keep this site on the family side of things.  Not necessarily as wholsome as milk and honey, but at least some degree of cleanlyness.  He couldn't handle it anymore.

It isn't this thread in particular that has be sighing, there have been much worse.

Yeah, I miss Kerry's moderation AND technical knowledge. The only problem with Kerry was that he was too nice sometimes; instead of being so passive he should have said "Ok, now look here. This is how it is going to be". LAY THE SMACK DOWN.    I'd delete that whole damned Test Area and change the Tard Farm to delete the threads after one week instead of 30 days. Who needs that crap anyway?

Otherwise, this site is going to get run right into the ground  :x

The Golden Rule is in the bible, but not as the "Do unto others as they do unto you" that most people recite.

Most people further confuse this statement and interpret it as "Do unto others as they have done unto you."  That is not the doctrine of Christ.  That is closer to the Old Testament 'eye for an eye' and 'tooth for a tooth' mentality, but Jesus says:  

Matthew 5: 38:  Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for and eye, and a tooth for a tooth:  But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil:  but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

hey ed, ive no prob with rg makin mod, not yet anyway, and i dont see any probs in the future. i do miss kerry though, what we do need in certain areas of this site, are a bunch of nazi postwhore moderators, some that wont take shaZam!, and do what needs to be done, we've gotten off rather easy around here, and its cost us a good mod. c'mon now lets cut our losses and try to keep this site fromgoing down the proverbial crapper :x
