Tribes anyone?

Funny thing.....I played it every so often but could never really get into it. I don't know why that is....I'm a Unreal Tournament player and figured Tribes would be the same thing but a different.....if you know what I mean.....but never could get into it. I own all of them but the latest one. I might put it back into the PC and give it a go again.....

i while ago gamespy gave away downloads of tribes 2,my friend got, and still has it i think,and i believe they still have tribes 1 for free DL, id give the link but am at school at the moment,curse you filters,oh well, this site still works

i used to play this one, but when I tried again some months ago, it gave me a headache within minutes.
very odd this happens with so many games I used to enjoy. Quake is another one that makes me dizzy. and serious sam induces vomiting. darn it... I used to play those for hours non-stop.

I played T1 for a while, even joined a little clan thingy. Then school kicked in and I didn't have time to play anymore, so it got shelved and untouched for the rest of the year. Once Tribes 2 came out, though, I put some more time into my gaming. I had nothing better to do, especially considering I am a huge procrastinator. I played T2 for quite a while, and was pretty serious about it one summer. Then, once again school rolled around and it had to get shelved. Haven't touched it in a few years.

I really prefer T2 over T1 though, although it was really hard to find a decent Base server on T2 last time I played.

I played Tribes when it was somewhat new...  But, I worked at Sierra... So...  It was kinda expected.

I have all 3. Play alot of 3 now, but it was seriously simplified. I can't wait for Starseige 2845.

I haven't loaded up Tribes in forever and a day, but that game was a blast in its time.

I currently work with CJ, who was the producer on Tribes.  Nice guy.

I never did get into the game, though.

I used to play it alot as well, I always wished I could've found a real sweet 128 man server to play on, since that's why I bought it in the first place for some 128 action. But the dream never came true, I was stuck with a mere 63 other players at most.

Tribes 1 and 2 are free as far as I know. Vivendi (publisher) released them both to promote their new game since a while ago.
