My team had an away game at a nearby rink today and I sort of over estimated how long it would take to get there so I had a bunch of time to kill so I stopped at the pro shop.

There was this hottie there wearing a suzuki riding jacket so naturally I couldn't help talking to him.  C'mon now...a hockey player that's into bikes? I dream about such things. (Don't tell my bf) I asked him what he rode and how long and we got into it a little bit.  

Here's the catch.

He just started riding this year, he rides a gsxr750, he thinks it's too small, he's getting a busa.  Maybe I'm a jerk but I sort of nicely pointed out that it takes a lot of time to harness the potential of a 500 let alone a 750 supersport.  I asked him if he's ever been to the track.  He said nope.  I asked him why the busa. He said because he NEEDS to go 200MPH.  That was enough for me.  I just told him to be careful and walked away.  Yuck.

Am I a total butthead to be completely annoyed by this guy?  I'm sure my insurance is going to go up as soon as he bites it but maybe I should just let people be. :dunno:

It probably sounds stupid - and will make little sense to you, but he was probably just trying to impress you.

He probably equates fast bikes to exciting, and he thought he would try andshow you how damn cool and exciting he is. You were SUPPOSED to swoon and be all over him and turned on by his "danger factor".

Some guys strike out time and time and time using this approach. Eventually they will learn
