Lots of complaints on the web about them?  Where?  Links?  And I don't mean links to other forums or threads with links.  Odds are, you'll come up with the same story time and time again:

http://www.mybuell.com/

Only one and the same story has been grafted to so many pages and links and forums it's stupid.  The only people who have problems with the blast are the people who try to use for something that it's not meant for.

There is not another...and I mean there simply is not any other bike...designed as the Buell Blast is.  This bike was meant from the beginning to be nothing more than a beginner's bike.  When Erik went to the drawing board with it, he went to make a beginner's bike...not an entry level or open class bike, not a low power standard, not anything BUT a beginner's bike.  No other bike touches the Buell Blast where it excels, either:  Learning to Ride.

THe Buell Blast is CHEAP!  You can get a used one for $1500.  You can sell it for $1500 after your done.

It's a NO MAINTANANCE bike.  No valve adjusts or TB syncs or belt checks or anything.  Put oil and fuel in it and go.

It's light.  No other 500cc street bike is as light as the Blast.

TALL first gear.  It's almost like a semi-auto transmission the first gear is so easy to get rolling.

Easy pull on the brake and clutch levers.

Gearing is very simple and precise.

My splotchy road record allows me to insure one for $49 a year.

...etc...
