Does anyone know anything about FMC motorcycle jackets?  I've been shopping for gear, and this jacket was very comfortable and relatively affordable.  But it doesn't have hard armor, which is a downside.  I'm still considering it, but I want to make sure this isn't just a fashion leather jacket before I waste time considering it.  I can't find much on them on the internet, which is a concern.

Any input would be appreciated!

Never heard of them, so I looked them up on the web. What I found appears to be the fashion type of m/c jacket. With the mention of "side lace", "Bon Jovi jacket", snap-front shirt jacket, and "updated collarless look" leads me to believe they're all fashion statements. No respectable sport rider is gonna go for 'side lacing' as that's going to get chewed up quick in a crash. "Bon Jovi jacket"? c'mon. A leather shirt? Collarless? Now, who's gonna go for collarless? Ever been hit by a bee in the neck?
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.
