Frame sliders for my scratched up GS

What about fork guards or swingarm sliders?
Is it practical on a GS?

it's been a long time since I've seen fork guards on anything...forks have an impact velnerabillity but with today's bikes there's really not much risk of the forks touching down.

swinger-sliders are always good, though, especially if you have a polished arm or something like that.  I use them on some of my bikes because their chains and sprockets are vulnerable.
