The Glory Stomper

I saw Jake mention "The Glory Stomper" in another thread and I downloaded the biker build-off episode featuring it, as well as the "Top Banana". I gotta say The Glory Stomper is without a doubt the best looking bike I've ever seen, and even my father, who has a different taste in bikes than me generally speaking, loves it. I know there aren't any production bikes that look remotely like it, sort of like some stretched and lowered Buell maybe, but I'd like to see some more pictures of similar bikes if anyone has them.

That is a fine looking bike. There are others similar to it out there. There's a company called redneck engineering that builds bikes based on the Sportster / Buell engines. The only problems is they are "budget" bikes with hartail frames. They look pretty cool though. Check out their Mutant Framed bikes on their web site.

Those do look pretty good, the closest thing I've seen to The Glory Stomper. The engine in that frame though looks so petite, all the void space up front isn't my style. Thanks a ton for the link though I'm gonan see what kinds of prices these frames are out of curiosity.

Not exactly "like" the Glory Stomper but it's a slick bike:

That's a 125rwhp 90* 996cc TL1000S powered concoction.

The Glory Stomper is really nice, though.  I'd ride the piss out of it.

I also dig the Confederate rides...

Confederate Motorcycles make some awesome looking bikes, very futuristic heh  :)  I think Tom Cruise rides one of them, which gives you an idea of what the price tage must be... The SOUND of the carbed Vtwin though is in my opinion the best sounding engine out there, no matter what make.

The Confederate Wraith comes to mind.  Do a image google on the Wraith and make sure I'm spelling it right.  There might be a picture of it above.  For some reason, those pics above don't work.

So cool.

BTW, Arlen Ness is a jackass in that episode and so is his family and his crew.  The voters had mercy on his soul because he lost his first biker build off to his son.  Sands was drawing dead against him and made one of the coolest bikes ever.  Such a shame.

Confederate Motorcycles make some nice looking machines, and the sound of their carbed American Vtwins make me tingle with horny. Too bad they're insanely expensive  :(

The MSRP is $55,000.  All things considered, it's really not that bad.

Especially if you think that "more money than an MV F4 1000 and a fully loaded Goldwing for something that can't compete with either" isn't bad.

It's an extremely low production run of hand built motorcycles.  How much do you want it to cost?

It's "extremely lot production number" is based on what they can sell.  If they can rack in 5000 orders, then they'll build 5000 bikes.  If they only get 50, they'll build 50...and they're just as "hand built" as the MV's.

Ultimately it's price is irrellevent...I won't be buying one. :thumb:

Speaking of unique motorcycles, I'm still hoping that Suzuki will eventually come out with something as beautiful as the G- Strider concept they came out with in 2003.

If I was really super freakin' rich, the first bike I'd buy would be a Confederate.  But I'm sure nobody cares about my opinion on it either.

But what's not to like?

Either that or I'd contact Roland Sands. 8)

In a test of a Mutant chopper, Redneck Engineering said they could be built for $10,000 using used Buell parts. My 2005 Sportster, new cost $8,250 out the door. Yeah, they only go up from there, but it's a foot in the door if that's the kind of bike you like. I've had my "little" 883 to 105mph(110=rev limiter :o ) and will cruise @90mph, though I prefer 70mph for legal reasons.

, would you race a pickup against a corvette?, and expect to win.? no of course not. but that is what youre doing, comparing apples to oranges, cept for the goldwing, but goldwings have damn near 2000cc's
(1800 to be exact). i mean cmon youre comparing that to this

No no...there was no comparison, you missed the "and".  Instead of the one bike you can buy an MV F4 1000 and a Goldwing.  Pinnacle of both worlds. :thumb:

I've also seen some damn fast pickups...

Three words (and some numbers) for yamahonkawazuki:  Dodge Ram SRT -10
Don't knock the trucks, I had my ass taken in my S2000 by a supercharged Ram with just a Hemi, let alone the Viper's venerable V-10.
