...I think I've found a good cut-off point in my booze intake to remain coherently sober while still being an idiot.  I just told my cat, who was patiently waiting for me ot take my boots off and attack the laces, to "back the f%$k Buddha Loves You".  When he didn't I hit him with the second thing I could find...my left boot.  The first thing was my right boot but it's hard to throw a boot with your foot in it....I tried.  I felt bad for hitting kojak with my boot but I'm sure he'll shaZam! in my sink to get me back.  It all comes around...
