I feel so close to you guys right now.

I thought I was the only one that felt this way.

We are all brothers.  Blessed and united.

Absolutely TRUE!  I'm glad I'm not the only "A$$"

Definitely!!!! Where I work (like I said, mostly women) it gets EXTREMELY catty and vindictive and petty. I think this is sort sort of cultural phenemenon (sp) because if I took almost ANY ONE of them women aside, they are some of the sweetest, nicest people you could meet. But if you get them in a pack - OMG - the claws come out. The few guys I work with know this, and we act accordingly. Well, they do..I don't because I'm an ass  :icon_razz:. I've also dated several girls from work - another bad idea, especially since most of them know eachother.

Like a lot of men, I have a history of poor judgement and bad decision making.  :dunno_white:

Yep, and I'm also betting that most of those times (like me) are basically innocent, but taken way too seriously.  Oh well.

I dont have a problem with wemen being more assertive, i dont have a problem with them pounding thier chest Gorrilla style to get alittle respect. But a simple comment of "you look very nice today" and your staring at the wrong end of a harressment suit.

you know what? F&$K em.  gonna Buddha Loves You about equal treatment and respect as any other man then your gonna get the equal BS i would give any other UNTIL they earned my respect.  Wemen Oggle and Gawk over Eye candy just as much. They just like to giggle about it over lunch like abunch of litlte Girls. let a flamer walk up and say "you look very nice today" and she is going to tell him where she got it and the shoes she bought with them.  IVE SEEN IT HAPPEN

Accelerate like your being chased, Corner like you mean it, Brake as if you life depends on it.

We didn't expect this to be well received.   But there are some things we need to get off our chest.  Protest if you will, but we are not going to back off of this one.  It is far too important.   :)

This is the what empowers us.  It is called bonding.  And there are few things I enjoy more than talking about women!  And Amanda, I hope you don't think less of me.    :kiss3:

Just to add a girl's perspective...

I used to work for a company that sold sporting goods.  So pretty much, I worked with all guys.  I personally think that there are a couple different personalities of women.  There are those who get offended if you look at them for a second too long and there are those of us who don't give a damn.  My old job was one giant innuendo or joke or stab after another and I loved it.  It's tough to adjust now that I work in a much more formal setting to the idea that I can't make fun of people as I wish.

Oh, and dating people that you work with = bad.  You wouldn't shaZam! where you eat, would you?  Not saying that I have not done it.  Geez, I dated my boss's boss, but do as I say not as I do, beeches. :thumb:

I'm now excessively bored at work, I'm thinking about poking my eyes out with a dull object.  Bah, I miss normal people. :cookoo:

I slept with a partner at my old law firm (I dig older women).  It was before I worked there though.  Then a few months after we "dated" she called and offered me a job.

That was interesting.  But there was no shananigans once I started working there.  Eventually, she got married and moved away and I ended up in her old office.  Funny how that worked out!   :thumb:

Dating co-workers is a BAD BAD BAD idea.
Dating two co-workers at once is an even WORSE idea.
Dating two co-workers at once who are best friends is a pretty stupid thing to do.
Dating two co-workers at once who are best friends and not telling them about your relationship with the other is about one of the stupidest things you can do.

Trust me on this one. Damn I'm stupid.

i'm at work
there are MANY attractive women in the workplace
i TRY to maintain a professional attitude

I do field service work in hospitals and imaging clinics...lots of hospitals and imaging clinics. Most of the operators of xray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and other systems are women. Lots of them are very attractive. After nearly 30 years in the business, I find it is best to make eye contact...regardless of how much you want to lower your view.

Some women flaunt their "assets," but do so not necessarily to bait males, but to make themselves feel pretty or sexually attractive in their own eye. Men do it too. We primp our hair, strut or swagger or use body language to effect. Some men "puff up" to look more buff (of course at my age that means sucking it in more to look thinner - ).

In short we ARE sexual creatures. Just learning/knowing the boundaries of acceptable behavior is the tough part.

We once had a college-student worker who had a very nice body. She never wore revealing clothing, but her nipples were hard all day, every day. No matter what top she wore, they were out there. They were impressive. Women, are you self-conscious when your nipples are hard like that or do you like to show off? Just curious.

I'm conscious of it, I wouldn't say self-conscious.  It depends on the company.  Sometimes I will make a joke about it and other times I'll just try to ignore the eyes on my nips.  Hehe I said nips.

It's pretty cold in the office right now... ;)

:icon_rolleyes:  Why don't you ask your mother, your sister, or your female family members this question? Oh...it wouldn't turn you on as much to hear the answer?
