What kind of amperage are you seeing with the bike running?  Since you're saying that battery is progressively wearing down weather it's run regularly or not it leads me to believe your's is one of two problems:  either the battery's cells are fouled and not absorbing propper charge, or your bike's charging system is not producing adequate enough current to maintain the battery.

I'll let you know tomrrow morning. I'm also gonna try to get a new battery.

If/when you get a new one, ask/find out how long to charge it, and if they will do it. I would bet that the batteries come just charged maybe 20-30% (not actually charged, but more like they have that amount of power).

I know other rechargable things come like that. They seem to have power (full power too) but then 2 mins later, poof, no more.

Anyway, good thing you didn't have to dinker with the rest of the bike before finding out it was the battery. (or charging system)

I guess you could become a pro-bumper. (uh... ya.) And just bump start it all the time.

I did that for weeks with my car a few years ago when I was too lazy to get a new battery. Just parked where I could roll when I was ready to leave. It is really hilly around here, if you didn't guess. Was kinda fun, except the big 'error you car will blow up' messages that it sometimes display. (aka engine trouble light)
Signatures are displayed at the bottom of each BIKE or personal message. BBC code and WORKS may be used in your WELL.

I live in florida and am VERY fortunate to havea giant downhill slope outside my apt complex. My only fear everytime I push start it, is that it fails and I have to push it all the way up the hill. :icon_twisted:

The battery I bought was charged by the store when I purchased it and it worked for a few weeks afterwards but now I have this. So...dunno.
