replacement exhaust

hi there, im new to the forum, and have just bought a nice little gs 500,
im happy with the bike except for the exhaust, its a bit lame looking and doesnt sound too hot,
i just want a no hassle replacement can, that i can just cut the old one off and slide on a replacement
prefeably something that came from a different bike that wont be too hard to find,
any ideas as to what bikes have a similar size can that'll slide on?
