As matt said what a great ride sooooo many bikes good entertainment and atmosphere if I have one compliant about it well a couple no food for sale no toilets except for a trip to parliment house ( thankfully lotsa trees)  you would'nt have wanted to be a woman and they ran out off tshirts for sale.
Other then those gripes great weekend will defenitly be at the next one :thumb:

PS Matt I have put the video footage on disk as a VCD not as good quality as DVD so I will try it as a DVD as well but it still came out OK I have a small breif shot of you as I went passed you :thumb:

Haha, I got caught in that storm while making my way from Batemans -> Canberra some time in the afternoon! Just outside of Bungendore, the heavens opens and I got nailed by it. Couldn't see 20m infront of you and it was quite literaly raining sideways  Had a decent weekend, went to Canberra via Maq Pass, Kanga Valley, Batemans, Kings Hwy etc. Didn't see one cop the whole way down (I hope they didn't see me too). Went back via the Fed/Hume Hwy's and again no cops till 10min from home on Heathcote Rd  :2guns: Few good parts to the trip down overall, but alot of boring highway bits, add to that the traffic  Kings Highway between Bateman and Braidwood is great fun  :thumb:

Overall did about 800-850km on the weekend  Ticked over 35,100km on the way home too, so the bikes due for a service soon, plan on getting the mech to look at the clutch and also the cam chain is rattly again  If the cam chain needs replacing I might go a manual CCT, I've heard it's better, have to talk to the mech about it.

Haha, to be honest, I love riding in the rain  :icon_mrgreen: The storm was awesome most of the cars on the road at the time pulled over or at least put their hazards on. What was suprising was how abruptly it stopped. Massive storm one second, nothing the next ?!

Absolutely no idea what time I passed thru Braidwood. I left Batemans about 2:45pm and headed inland. I was passing groups of bikes going the opposite direction for most of the way between Batemans and Bungendore though, I probably passed you along the way.

EDIT: My GPS reckons it takes 45min to get to Braidwood from Batemans, so I guess I went thru about 3:30pm, didn't stop though. I think I was stuck behind a boat going thru town.
