carb help plz

I received some carbs for my gs500 from a guy on gstwins, sale went smooth, but the carbs I received have an extra hose that I have no clue where it might go. I'm gonna do my best to describe it. On the carbs you have your fuel inlet and fuel overflow T fittings. Ok now on the bottom of these carbs is a hose that runs from the bottom of the float bowls to T fitting connecting them that has a smaller hose running off it. It's not really on the float bowls, kinda behind them between the bowls and the rail that holds the carbs together I'm new to all this and I do know my other 2 sets of carbs do not have this hose, nor do the other images of carbs I see. I was told these carbs had a dynojet stage 1 kit installed could it be something dealing with that? I did receive the remaining parts to the kit so I'm not doubting it was installed. Can anyone maybe help me figure out where this hose goes and what it's for? I just pulled the hose off and theres this brass fitting stem thing that sticks in the hose, also dont recall this being on my other carbs. other carbs are off 92 and 95, could i be these are off a diff yr bike?  PLEASE help the noob.

K i got to looking at this image:

Which im guessing tells me these carbs are from a 89. the part in the image that this hose is attached to is sticking down RIGHT ABOVE the line for part# 20 that points to the oring. hope this helps, was hopin to install today.

The carbs are the same from '89 to '96, so I can't explain why it's on these but not the others you have.

did you see where i was sayin it connects to? i dont guess it really matters if it isnt on the other carbs, i just need to know where that hose runs to.

Yeah, the little nipple right by the float bowl. Fuel filter perhaps? I dunno, man.

ok After taking closer look, the diagram linked above, the  T fitting i"m talking about is #64 with hose #65 and #62.  Now by going to bikebandit at this link

tells me that this is a  64: (CA)NIPPLE. so i'm guessing these came off of a Cali bike. So is there a way to remove that shaft thing or do i run this hose somewhere since i don't have a CA model bike. also if I remove the shaft what do I put there?
