I know this is a m/c forum, but I am posting this in the O&E section.  Plus beer and operating ANY vehicle is a BIG NO NO!

A friend from work is really big into making his own beer.  He "converted" two other people at work, and now it's a new "club" for them.  I personally don't drink, but I realize that there are MANY responsible people out in the world that do drink.

www.mrbeer.com is where they've been getting their different supplies.  I thought most of you would enjoy this link.

Mate, I've been brewing my own beer for about 10 years now.

Just from a quick look at that web site it's a slightly different process/setup than Mr Beers.

It costs me about $30 for 2 & 1/2 cartons of beer. A carton of beer is 24 x 375ml bottles, so around 22 litres of beer and it's all good  :thumb:

Brew all-grain, and you will never go back to those Mickey-Mouse malt-syrup kits again (or production beers for that matter)

I just started brewing my own beer. I don't have the room or know-how yet to do all grains.

Here is a site to get real brewing equipment http://www.morebeer.com/ or http://www.morebeer.com/

I'm too lazy to do that stuff.  I can barely muster the strength to get out of the car and buy a 30 pack of bud lite.
There is more to this site than a message board.  Check out http://www.gstwin.com

I boiled up my first batch with "real" equipment just this weekend.  Me and a friend of mine are brewing Northern Brewer's American Amber Ale (pictures).  It already looks like delicious, delicious beer, and the airlock is merilly going pop-pop-pop.  I had a Mr. Beer kit, but never had any luck with it.  Three lousy batches.  The whole "50% corn sugar" thing isn't really my style, and the cheap plastic fermentor is shady at best.  Looking forward to my first batch out of the glass system.

One of these days, if I get real, real ambitious, I'll go all grain.  But it seems like kind of a pain in the butt, and I'm lazy.

Make dandilion wine.  You'll get f'ed up like a mofo.

Hey, if anybody can make Absinth, that would be cool, too.
