Beauty.  :thumb:  Makes you want to e-mail this to the AMA to get it on the airwaves, eh?

Kinda reminds me of the Austrailian explanation of the relationship of speed to stopping distance:

Slow Down Please.mpeg
(You might have to save the movie locally before playing.)

that I posted in my "Watch your Speed" post of last summer.

Close but no cigar, Alpha -- says HONDA on the tank.  Probably a naked CB500 or CB600.

This video makes me feel a whole lot better about having a Headlight Modulator on my bike.  But regardless, it's best to ride defensively.  Always ride like you're invisible to others.

Most definitely man. I've been told to ride like I'm invisible from the first day I was on the street. One of my favorite things to do when out riding is looking at other cars and thinking, "What is the stupidest thing that person could do right now? That's what they're going to do." and correct accordingly. See a car sitting at a stop sign? Slow down, change lanes if possible, and assume they're going to turn into you. Doing that has saved me at least once.

they''ll never play that here. We're too concerned with our fundamental freedoms to be able to not wear helmets and kill ourselves any way we want.  Just my minirant.

Aside from the MSF there is little or no motorcyle publicity aside from the occasional lobby to ban helmets in states like PA.

not banning helmets. I may have been mid rant. But PA repealed our mandatory helmet law in sept. of 04. Largely due in part to our lame ass governor and lots of lobbying by groups like ABATE who used outdated research that shows that helmets cause more injuries than they prevent.
