ICON Scorpion.

I LOVE THIS THING!!!  Great styling, VERY comfortable fit.  Excellent build quality (especially over my modular helmet by WOMBAT TRADING).

I highly recommend ICON helmets.  I'm hoping I can say the same about their tank bags once I get it this Monday.

SHAUN: It's Saturday!

PETE: No, it's not. It's funking Sunday. And I've got to go to funking work in four funking hours 'cos every other funker in my funking department is funking ill! Now can you see why I'm SO FUNKING ANGRY?

ED: Funk, yeah!

j/k

I got my tankbag today, and I love it!!  Yes it is the ICON Urban Tank bag.  BLUE.
(Now I match again...  Blue bike, Blue jeans, Blue stripe on black leather jacket, Blue mirror shield on it's way for my new helmet....)

It is made very well, and is roomy.  I have a regular JANSPORT backpack for school, and the main difference is that this new tank bag is a bit thicker, so I can fit more books into it.  I personally don't like the plastic on the front, but that's the only thing you can use to hold a map.  The magnets do hold, but obviously it can't hold too much in terms of books. (I tried my accounting book and binder, and that seemed to hold well.  I didn't test-ride though...  too goddamn cold.

is it bad to ride with a backpack strapped on your back??

is that why they make tank bags or what...

annguyen1981

it depends on the weight of the backpack and how big it is.

When I took the MSF course, the video they showed contained a diagram of where the weight really affects the riding.

Imagine a triangle with points at your head, and the center of both wheels.  The instructor stated that anything within this triangle doesn't affect riding as much as weight outside this triangle.  That is why the owner's manual states that riding two-up changes the riding dramatically.
