If this is a serious vote, I suggest searching out the posts of the above mentioned candidates.  In my opinion, Redshift is the most qualified after reviewing his posts.  His posts are generally insightful and helpful without the P/W fluff.
Something is wrong with my twin...all of a sudden it's V shaped!  Wait, no, now it's a triple!  ...and I IZ NOT a postwhore!

Absolutely. I didn't even have to think twice before I cast my vote.

I think before anyone votes, think about what makes a good moderator. Being a knowledgeable member does not necessarily make for a good moderator, though it makes an excellent member and helps a moderator.

What qualities does one need to be a good moderator?

Are they tactful?
Do they have proper "netiquette"?
Are they able to be firm and unbiased?
Do they encourage and participate in discussions?
Are they active enough on the board to nip problems in the bud?
Are they solid in their decision making abilities?
Do they have a strong enough "presence"?

Make sure you ask these questions to yourself before voting!

Hopefully this won't be a popularity contest or a "who knows the most" sort of thing. But more, who will do the job the best?

BTW - I voted for Redshift.  :thumb:
Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.

There is not one option in the list of potential moderators that shares my values, and only one that would come to the defense of anyone not leaning to the left, so that's who I voted for. I do applaud John and Pablo for FINALLY banning the most vulgar member to deface this board. In keeping with the moderators encouragement to keep this site clean, I have removed most( :icon_rolleyes:) of my attempts at provoking honest non-liberal thought here. Of course I've left anything that could help a new GS500 owner get aquainted with his or her steed. Since I don't currently own a GS500(same as lots of other members  :icon_rolleyes:), I probably won't post in the future, other than perhaps a polite correction to anti-American Motorcycle propaganda. I do wish you all health, wealth, and sanity. Have fun, and play nice.

I think it's hilarious how you offensively say you're removing the offensive material. Well done!

I don't think going to that extreme is necessary, per se, and this is coming from one of those "liberal yahoos". You shouldn't just up and leave, but maybe throw in motorcycle advice at times too? I dunno. Just a thought. If you do decide to leave, ride safe Ed.
