it's been great to have this forum to support all my GS needs...but it's now time for me to move on...i just took delivery of a brand new 2006 SV650S!!!!!!!!.....again...thanks for everything ...

yes...it's a BLACK SV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we get the black in canada...it's sorta like a black with silver sparkles...lol...and it's listed as "grey"

In Canada, the 2006 SV650 is available is a smokin' dark grey paint scheme... I've been coveting that big-time

I'm wanting to get a bigger bike, but I'd also like to stay on the forum, but I'm not sure how stupid that would be, if at all.  My guess is that I'd get tired of all the GS talk and just find another forum.

My little thread-jacking for the day...  AJ - so bans are only for a week I take it?  I don't quite understand.  I've read something about SOMEONE being banned, but no one ever mentioned any names.  This is the first thread I've seen you "BANNED" avatar.

Yup, I bought an '06 SVS, too. I also still have my '90 GS500E ratbike, and the '92 commuter is still parked at my house. I've got all my bases covered!

I havent had my gs500 for almost 2 years. Everyone is welcome to stay, unless you cross the line. Then you get warned, warned again and again, then banned. Bans can be set for a day, week, month, forever...and we can ban based on username and other things to keep people coming back. aj's ban was one week.

Congrats on the SV, Frost... I looked long and hard at the SV before deciding on the DRZ... i just wanted to play in the dirt too.  Bad thing was I paid about the same money I could have got the SV for... The SV is alotta bike for the price IMO, probably the best deal out there.
