Checking out full insurance on a new bike and State Farm has the best price by a significant margin.  Anyone had to do a claim with them on the bike?  Just wanna know how it went....  Bike Line?  They are the second place bidder for my money....

Progressive wanted more than the price of the bike, brand new, per year....  It was kind of amusing....

Hi there,
I have had State Farm insure my bike for 30 years, and have never had a problem. They've paid a claim quickly when someone knocked my bike over and fled the scene several years ago. I pay about $200 a year for full coverage and higher liability limits (in PA, and I'm 46). They also insure my cars and have always been good with claims, fast and fair here.
I recommend State Farm highly.

Had state farm when I was in the states. Rates were good, never had a claim, but my agent had a great staff, took good care of me. They also had my auto and renters policies.   :thumb:

Cool. Sounds like State Farm it is.  They are definitely the best as far as price, just was curious to know about service...

I had a collision/uninsured motorist claim with the farm...  My bike was totalled and we argued over the price for a week but after the argument they ended up giving me more than I wanted :thumb:  Matter of fact they gave me about $70 less than I paid for it new! It had plenty of mods and some custom paint but also had two riding seasons.. Just don't use the word "mods" with them... They're "accessories" that have been "installed"

I've been an insurance agent for almost six years and I say buy the farm... I don't work for them (that should tell you something) but I've got my van, gsxr, and house with them.
