My hunch was right...Pandy is the biggest Post Whore!

Phaedrus

Wow Jetswing, that is AWESOME  :thumb: Excellent job!  Very helpful. Everyone should check it out: The GS NE Rally 06 page. It has all pertinent information in one convienient spot.

So does we have any more input regarding the Saturday group ride?  :dunno_white: I just used the motorcycle roads as a rough guideline so we'd have something to work with. Jetswing, Weaselnose, and I seem to think it will work. So unless anyone has any objections, how about we use it?  :thumb:

We need more input from everyone! This is a team oriented, community trip and we want everyone to participate and call this trip their own. I don't want everyone thinking I am making all the decisions..haha. I just want to make sure everything is getting done, is well planned out, and that everyone gets equal say.

Having said that, things that still need to be done:

- Confirmation from all members. If everyone shows up that has expressed interest, this will be bigger than the Carlsile Trip.  :icon_lol: And those of you that showed up remember how awesome that was. The only thing we didn't get to do as much was hang out together and ride much. Hopefully, this meet will pick up where the last one left off.

- All members planning on going should get their reservations placed this month. If for some reason you HAVE to join us last minute (money problems? late notice?) we WILL find room for you somewhere. Also, don't let the cost of the tent/cabin be the reason you don't come. As I said, we will find a place for you and we won't leave anyone out that wants to participate. We're not strangers, we're a GS family  :kiss3:

- If you don't want to camp with us Friday night, you can join us at 10am on Saturday at Sandy Valley Campground. We will depart around 10:30 for the group ride. We will also be camping and having our GSTwin party on Saturday night. As discussed previously, it will be campfire BBQ style with optional "drinks" . Yes - it is going to be a lot of fun.

- Also, do not worry about being able to "keep up" on the group ride. Even if you are a noob, or just prefer an easy pace; that is fine. We mentioned it before but I want to rest any concerns about this. I know when I first started riding I was intimidated to ride with others because I didn't want to be "the caboose". Likewise, if you are a speed demon and want to carve the corners, more power to you. We are all at different levels and as with any group motorcycle ride; we each will "ride our own ride". Those that want to speed up ahead and drag knee will do so. Those that want to cruise and enjoy the scenery, can do so. There will be others at your riding level, no matter what level it may be.

- Feel free to bring whoever you would like.  Spouses/SO's, friends, whatever. Even if they come in a car, nothing wrong with that. Just make arrangements for them on Saturday's group ride to either ride with you 2up or find something else to do until we get back to the campsite in the late afternoon.

- You don't have to have a GS to come, either. A few of our members won't be showing up on a GS and thats ok. As long as you are a member or a friend of a member of GSTwin.com and you appreciate the GS500, you are good to go!

- Any questions, input, or things you would like to add or ANYTHING at all - PLEASE contribute! Like I said, there seems to be just a certain few members contributing ideas but EVERYONE'S PARTICIPATION is strongly encouraged to make this the best GSTwin Event EVER!  :thumb:

Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.

I'm probably going to call tomorrow or sometime this week (soon) to book a cabin for Friday & Saturday night. My plan is to come up on Friday, but it might be Saturday. I'll letcha's know for sure when I find out myself, lol.

Julie - Remember, I know where you live. Don't make us come get you  :icon_razz: Get your butt there!

Also, I know I've posted it but just to remind everyone - if you want to come but are worried about camping by yourself or don't know anyone else that is coming, don't worry. Remember you can bring a friend, a BF/GF, whatever.

It is coming together  :thumb:

Bah, don't worry about it. There is a biker rally in Johnstown, PA (on the other side of PA).

Good luck with the potential for the new job. Always exciting starting fresh, and even better when the weather is nicer there!  :thumb:

I was thinking we should start a list of who has a site to share and who needs to a site to share

I plan on coming, but dunno if I'm gonna bring someone or come by myself yet.  So I dunno if I'm gonna need a site to myself or if I can share a site, or are the sites big enough they can hold more people?
