So I hadn't made the needle valve adjustment that is recommended for my rejetting (in sig).  The problem was finding the washers.  I finally found a 100-pack at the local Fastenal.  They were varying thicknesses, but I finally found a combination of 2 for each that gave me about 1.25mm (Micrometers are nice).  It already had been adjusted by someone else with 0.5mm washers.  That extra 0.75mm cured my acceleration problems.  It was lugging when I twisted hard, but no more!

The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

Yeah, it's stock.  I like quiet, though this one apparently has a hole in it.  I saw water vapor coming out of the bottom.  I'm not surprised that a hole would have rusted in it since it sat for over a year.

There should be a small hole in the exhaust... at the front of the can, on bottom to drain excess water vapor from the can

Yes, it's supposed to be there.  Every stock GS exhaust has one.  You'll see that it is a perfectly round hole, like it's supposed to be there, not jagged like rust would be.

Okay, then my muffler is fine!  I haven't actually looked at the bottom of the muffler, but that's exactly where it is coming from.  I thought water had accumulated and rusted the hole, not that it was put there intentionally.  Makes sense to me.
