hey my bike starts fine after its been running for a bit but twicw now since i had it the battery has died on me. today after i got home from work i went to start it and it just keep cranking. Did not pop at all. Like in 2mins my battery was dead. This suck..... :mad:

Thanks to advances in automation, Nike shoes will be made by robots. Unfortunately, the robots will be made by children in Malaysia.

The battery doesn't last long with continuous cranking.  You need to find out why it's not starting.  If you don't have a manual, I'd recommend one.  That, or a good mechanic.

Sounds like a cold starting problem to me.

Petcock vacuum safety not working?  Does it start cold in prime?
Battery age?
Spark plugs serviceable?
Stock jets and stock exhaust and intake configuration?
Relatively new gas (within 6 months)?

Just a few immediate thoughts.
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

 The same thing would happen to me because I would open the throttle while trying to start the bike and it would just crank and drain my battery. Then I got the bright idea of just pushing the starter switch and not touch the throttle and the bikes stars almost instantly even on cold days.

The gas is more then six months old im for sure of that. So is the battery. I was sitting for atleaset 8 months. But i ran it like all day sunday noprobs. Its when i try to start it after its been cold for the night.

What is the Petcock vacuum safety?

Im going to get a new battery today and hopefully that will remeady the problem.

Drain and replace the gas while you're at it; you can pour the old (bad) gas into your car or truck tank to dispose of it. Put at least two gallons of fresh gas into the GS when you replace the battery, and your problems should be solved.

The petcock vacuum safety is a vacuum-actuated valve on your fuel tank.  It only opens to allow fuel to flow when the carbs are generating a vacuum.  "Prime" position defeats this feature, which sometimes sticks.

Replace the gas, if you haven't already during your long ride.

Check the water level in the battery and also the condition of the plates.  The water should be covering the plates, and the plates should be clean.

I siphon the gas and put a brand new battery in there and now the bike is hesitating. The power is real seporatic. nad when i roll the throttle open i can hear a popping nosie

Could jus tbe some dirty carbs. Almost same situation here. However I poured a bottle of techron in there and i'm just going to run the nasty gas out.
