is it possible to mount clip on's under the top triple and still have clearance?  so far all i've got is to actually lower everything on the forks an inch or so and it is ok.  but  if anybody has found a way to put clip on's under the top triple and was still able to lock the bike's fork's when parked please explain how and post a pic or 2. oh yea nad I'm not talking about clip on's that clip onto the forks then rise up...just straight out from the forks

tire:
from what i've heard gsjack was the guy to go for this but he no longer frequents the board so plz a little newb help.  what tires give the most life/miles for the buck?  don't need race tires, dirt tires, specially designed for rain tires, helium filled tires, etc...  jsut plz help me out with what are some good soilid tires that will last me.

I know exactly what you mean with the search feature...I have yet to find anything I've attempted to look for with it...

Yes you can mount clip-ons under your tripple.  A lot of people do, actually.  Having them higher just makes for easier reach.

As far as tires go, I ALWAYS suggest Bridgestone BT 45H's.  If you want something a little more sticky and can fit a 150, I'd suggest hitting up some 020's.

There are a lot of tire opinions here, though, so don't be suprised to here 30 different answers to that question.

Cal Amari

yes it is but some have had clearance issues with mounting the stock headlight. Those that have done it trouble free were race bikes only, no headlights. so thats the issue there.

he's gone but do a search for tires and his member ID and you'll likely come up with a post or two of his where he gives a link to his long term tire chart.
