I've caught perch by sticking a hook into the water without bait and just yanking up after they try and eat it. Perch are freakin' stupid.

I expected the "Grand Finale" or "FINIS", as it were, to include the doofas dropping his battery-hooked up light in the water after one of the fish made a "suicidal"  thrust for the guy's head.

if hit directly, yes, but if indirect, they float to surface, or liek i think it was the vietnamese used to do, take a car battery, a;long with boat and electrodes, and stuin them

maybe tahts what was going on here.  it looks like maybe the fish are being subjected to low level current.
