I lost my washer, I think I'm going to cry

I got all of the o-rings I needed to put my carburetors back together, and in the process of changing the idle air screw o-ring, the washer fell out of the carb.  It went "tink" on the table, and disappeared.  I've been over the carpet back and forth with my eyes and a magnet, and I just can't find it.  I think it might have landed on my dog.  It's gone.  That means no riding for another week over a $0.98 washer.  :(

Tallahassee, FL.  If you could, that would be great.  I'd even pay.  I have paypal, and am not afraid to use it.  :)

Oh, thank you karma!  I was having connectivity issues, so I called Comcast, they said something was wrong locally, and I gave up on the internet.  I saw my dog looking up at me forlornly, and I got down in the floor to play with her.  What do I see, but the washer!  It was right where I'd been looking with a light and a magnet. Lesson: play with your dog more.

Caturday yet?

Haha nice!  Double check and make sure the o-ring is still in the carb body too.

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof, is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools....

Thanks to advances in automation, Nike shoes will be made by robots. Unfortunately, the robots will be made by children in Malaysia.

I took it out.  It was the old one, and I hadn't taken the new one out of the package yet.  I put the screws in immediately once I found the washer.  Not going to go through that again....

Now, I can put my carb together, smooth out my cam, adjust my valves, and I'll hopefully be back on the road by tomorrow evening.  :thumb:
