i was wondering if anyone could help me with figuring out what part i need.  I rejetted my carb a while back, so this included taking those two plugs out so you can get to those mixture screws.  Well it appears that one of these screws fell out.  Does anyone know what the part is called.  Or better yet help me figure out what part # it is on this schematic.  I think its number twenty but im not quite sure.  Thx for the help Kevin.

i figured it out
thx anyway

Edit by scratch: Please let us know what you found so that it may help others in the future.  For what it's worth, part #20 is the mixture screw.

Also, something that I've noticed lately, is that a few of our members have lost their screws (some are just loose); for those that may have their mix screws out 3 turns, or more, it might be a good idea to either wrap the threads with white plumbing tape, or place duct tape over the tower hole.

Yeah, losing your mix screw SUCKS!!!! It's like a $20 assembly! I had mine at least 4 turns out at the time. I've never had a problem with it being 3 turns out, though. I'd be wary of going out any more though.

yes it was the number twenty assembly that fell out... the plumbing tape is a good idea.. i think ill try that thx

as for bike ailments that occured while the screw was out... my bike had a hard time idling and there was some popping at low rpms... not sure if the popping was caused by the screw though

It was. Mine did the exact same thing. I'm surprised my plugs wern't fouled though.
