Alright, this is from the latest issue of Cycle World:

QuoteDOWN: To Welsh sportbiker Lee Beddis, for being a slow learner, unfortunately for him at a very high rate of speed. In May of 2002, Beddis flashed past a police radar camera at 155 mph. His license was revoked for a year and he was forced to sell his Honda. After serving the ban, Beddis promptly purchased a Suzuki GSX-R1000, but was killed last January when he ran into the back of a car at 100mph. The driver survived with injuries, but Beddis, 37, was killed instantly. The coroner ruled "death by misadventure," which pretty much says it all.

Death by misadventure? How about  death by being a f%$king IDIOT? I mean seriously! People like him give motorcyclists a bad name and raise our insurance rates. I wonder why on earth people would have road rage towards a motorcyclist, but this shows me why. They think we're morons, or something.

I don't feel sorry for Beddis. Not one bit. Hell, I'm GLAD he's dead. f%$king moron deserved it, and it's one less dumbass in the world. I feel sorry for the driver he injured doing the stupid shaZam! he did.

What's the context of that? Not that it sways my opinion at all, but I'm curious why that showed up in there.

That is the whole context. Cycle World does "ups & downs" of good and bad things happening in motorcyling.

No. There was this girl in Florida with no experience who bought a sportbike and crashed it the same day she bought it as she was riding home. She was travelling over 100mph on neighborhood roads and crashed while not wearing any gear; not even a helmet.

Another reminder we need to police ourselves or exercise good judgment.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

Darwin in action... :cookoo:

for this one It maybe a little more appropriate to mention NEWTON.  Darwin too, But NEWTON is a bit more relevant.
